“Will this work in a Dell Latitude D430? I have a Dell D430 that I can't access the internet with. I had to re-install the windows cd, nothing is on the computer but windows XP and the wireless option to turn on does not work. All I want is to use the laptop to connect to the internet using WiFI.”

Have you attempt to go to dell support website to download the drivers for your wireless card? This adapter would definitely work, but if you have a usb memory stick, maybe try to go to a friends house and download the drivers and put them on the stick.

Have the drivers been added on the re-imaged machine for the wireless adapter (The Drivers & Utilities CD should contain everything since it is released with all Dell Products)? Please also include the Wireless Interface Card make and model. Also, where are you trying to receive a wireless signal? If at home, please specify the make and model of the Wireless Access Point (WAP) (Also called a wireless router, Hot Spot, and transmitter) last, were you able to access WAP's previously before you re-imaged your machine? Please keep in mind that the Dell Latitude D430 standard Wireless Interface Card does NOT support 802.11n.
