It connect to an HDtv with a HDMI cable, but also has RCA connections as well. Connects just like a DVD player, just change the input on your TV to the connection you are using. Before you buy make sure that your computer is capable of WiDi. Only computers with Intel have this technology. AMD chips will not work with it.
