• The lights are normal. The machine tells the time and those colors are only meant to indicate AM or PM they don’t mean your pot is running or will turn on. Make sure your clock is set to the correct time if these lights aren’t coming on at the right times of day for you

• Yes, those lights will light up to indicate am and PM on the clock. When you set timer to brew, click and timer need to be in sync.
