A:AnswerNo. There isn’t even an on/off switch. It’s a basic “plug it in and the blades start going” type of deal. The cord is also pretty short. I suggest plugging it into a power strip with an on off button. That’s what I did.
A:AnswerIt is made of plastic..I read research where scientists say you should not put hot liquids in plastic or drink from plastic that is heated because..regardless of whether it is bpa free or not...heat helps chemicals from leaching out of the plastic. Perhaps you could blend the liquid when cold and then boil it in the microwave or hot stove.
