“I just got this and noticed on broil I can’t see the element on top turn orange, as it heats up, at all like in an oven. Is it supposed to? Can anyone verify? Thanks”

Of course not. It ia not an oven. Its an airfryer. You won't see it get hot. Works perfect!! Enjoy!
