Yes, French fries will turn out to be crispy on the outside when using this air fryer.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes they will. You need to coat them lightly in some sort of oil. I've made regular and sweet potatoes at 375 to 380F and they come out crispy. Baked potatoes are amazingly good, crispy on the outside and almost a mashed potato texture inside and so much faster than using the oven.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have never had to use any kind of oil in my air fryer. I never oil my fries and they always come out crisp.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. For sure if you apply a thin layer of oil to the fries. Most everything you cook in an air fryer is going to need a thin coating of oil. It can be a wide variety of healthy or not so healthy oils. You'll also want to season them of course, assuming you're making from scratch. They cook very quickly so experiment with the cooking temp from 375 to 400 and peak at them while cooking by pulling the basket out part way so you can bump the temp up or down or adjust the time remaining on the fly until you tweak the process.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I've tried cooking fries with and without added oil, and as most people say, a spray oil will produce a better result. Also shake/turn halfway through the process and add a bit more oil. Finally, soak the potatoes in water before cooking for the best fries.
