I learned to just "smash" it down with my fist. I close cover then "whack-a-mole" it to make sure the capsule gets punctured and it's worked. Just pressing it down hasn't worked at all. So far, so good. Hope that helps.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Some pods have very thick plastic to pierce, I’ve ran into these pods various times with my keurig, even the keurig struggled too pierce them. I would buy a better quality brand of pod that has the official keurig seal of compatibility.
