“Does the interior get greasy and need to be cleaned like an oven needs to be cleaned?”

Yes, but I haven’t had any issues wiping it down with a cloth and an organic multipurpose cleaner after it cools. I think the steam created during cooking makes cleanup very easy. There is also a drip pan that gets cleaned like the crisper pans. It pulls out and gets a bath in warm soapy water.

Just like any enclosed toaster oven it will get splatter, I just wipe down after each use, the racks clean easily as well & the door is removable to get it really clean if need be. Unless your cooking your food basted in oils you shouldn’t get greasy splatters, I’ve had mine over 2 mos and it’s used almost daily and it still looks really clean on the inside
