No it doesn’t have dehydration techniques

Dehydration is not so much a "technique," as a setting. On the 4-Qt. model, for example, the setting allows a temperature range of 90-170 °F over a time period of 1-24hrs. I belive the 2-Qt. model doesn't go below 170, but if you can manage with that, and repeatedly setting the time, you might be able to get a satisfactory dehydration on at least some produce.
