A:Answer WOW, what an answer from the Bella Team. Kind of makes me not want to buy from them again. Anyway, you may have already thought about this, but is it under warranty?
Maybe a phone call or email to the company will give you better results. My Bella (different model that I gifted) was under warranty, and the company said they did not have replacement trays, but that if I cut the cord on my product and sent them a photo of the cut cord, that they'd send me a refund. I decided just to live with the problem. Good luck!
If you buy another fryer from Best Buy, I recommend the Geek Squad warranty if it's under $10. The plan I have (with a different fryer) covers accessories.
