• Hello, thanks for reaching out. The unit has pause and serve function. If you wish to serve a cup of coffee before the brew cycle is complete, simply remove carafe from the warming plate. Dripping will automatically cease. Return the carafe onto the warming plate; dripping will resume. Have a great day. The BELLA Team.

• Yes, but jiggle it a bit first, otherwise a drop or two will still fall.

• Yes the plug in the top drops down, so you can get a cup then put back into place and continue brewing.
