• On the coffee ground holder itself there is a dial lever however use caution if this method is going to be used.

• I agree with Anonymous. Positioning the valve between “brew” and “complete” adjusts the flow and thus, the strength.

• The manual does not do a very good job of explaining the operation of it. Through trial and error, I've discovered a position midway to produce strong, flavorful, coffee. Hope this helps..

• It doesn't have a valve for strength, it has a valve to stop the flow so you can get coffee without drips. Just remember to turn it back to the left, when done. :)
