“How wide are the side cabinets and center openings? More specifically, would standard AV gear at 17.5" fit inside the side cabinets?”

• I have a pioneer elite SC-LX501 inside the bottom left cabinet, with a shelf on top to store extra 3D glasses, and misc things. While the receiver does run a tad warm, it fits and is properly ventilated. So no complaints here
