can you put a 82 in tv on this stand null

No mine was 65 in and I think it only goes up to 75 in

You would want to check the weight of the TV versus how much weight the stand will support. Also, I have a 65" TV on mine and it is almost as wide as the stand (just about 2" shy of being the same width)

We have a 65 and it fits perfectly. 82 will stick out, but the console is very well built and sturdy. We love the console! !!
