- Answer I would assume NO. It literally says on the box "supports UP TO 1920x1080" so I'm assuming it's limited to that. Probably because of the HDMI function.

- Answer Yes if one end is hdmi and one end is display port then yes this adapter is perfect for you. Also it will save you about 30 dollars rather than buying a cord with that combination of ends on it
