- Answer Hello Oscar! Totaltech membership covers one household, so you would not be able to use it for both homes. If you wanted protection for the second home you would need to purchase a second plan to cover that location. You can get total tech service any time by paying $199 annual but they give to discount on installing item but that’s not free. But honestly poor service, they don’t show up if you have total free installing of you items you bought at the same time .waste of time and excitement,
