Please check how you have the sub connected. If the sub is not connected to the appropriate subwoofer output you may have interrupted signal going to the sub. Please check and make sure that if you are connected to a receiver that the sub input is turned on and the volume for this sub is turned up on the receiver not on the back of the speaker. If that does not work please check the connection cable itself because if it does have any type of shredding or pulling it will not give you the appropriate amount of ohms going to the speaker.If all else please try to use in output from the receiver going through an RCA to a single RC adapter and plug that into the back of the subwoofer
