A: Yes.....very nice addition to any stereo system. Very heavy and well made. Smooth bass deep enough for the price. I've been really happy with it (running with Bose 901's and JBL Northridge speakers)...it fills in the bass for movies and for music very well.

Q: Have a Yamaha RXV1500. Is this sub compatible?

A: I have a Yamaha amp myself & it should be fine with the sub out line to the subwoofer.

Q: Can the feet be removed?

A: Yes they can be removed. It's a Phillips head screw that holds them on.

Q: To: Mrlb3 All you suggested has already been done. Receiver "PRE OUT" to "SUB IN" Receiver volume at 45 sub volume 6/7 Hz at 100 My RCA cable is brand new. As per the receiver, all my surround speakers including sub are aligned.

Q: Im using a RCA cable by way of the "SUB IN" from the SUB to my receiver's "PRE-OUT". The remaining surround sound speakers are connected to my receiver as its source not the sub. As per my Pioneer 532 VSX receiver I aligned all the speakers still no sound

A: If your Amp has a microphone with a wire to plug into your amp you should run this test and you sub should work. If you cannot get it to work used the Wired running your front L & R Speaker through it from your Amp.

Q: Sub not producing any sound. Is it a simple plug and play or does the sub need to be calibrated to/with my reciever? Thanks -W

A: Had the same problem till I paired it to my receiver. I ran the automatic test and setting of my speaker from my Amplifier with the mike wire plugged in with the mike in the middle of my Surround Sound System. After running this my speaker works with a beautiful sound.

Bic H100ii Subwoofer
I was looking to upgrade my subwoofer for my home theater system. I am running an older Okyo r330 AVR from a home theater in a box. I have upgraded all of the speakers to Klipsch reference series and bought a 10inch Klipsch reference subwoofer. Unfortunately I could not use the Klipsch subwoofer being that the AVR was only designed to run the passive subwoofer that came with the set. The Klipsch subwoofer only had a LFE input and would not work properly with a line level converter. So I decided to look for an alternative subwoofer. That had high level inputs as well as the LFE. I came across this BIC H100II. I liked the look of it because it closely matches the look of my other Klipsch reference speakers. After reading reviews and watching videos on YouTube I decided to go with it. It arrived to my local Best Buy in less then a week, and setup was easy plug and play. My fist impression was how nice it looked with its black lacquered top and almost copper colored woofer cone. I use my system mostly for video games and movies as well as music. I can say in the area of sound quality this is an excellent subwoofer for the price. It will drop low and sounds great for all types of music and action scenes in movies. You can definitely feel the low frequency rumble from explosions and gun fire in movies and games and I would even say when listening to music it is a musical subwoofer clean deep and accurate and still be punchy for rock music. That being said it does tend to slightly struggle in frequency ranges below 30hz you can still freel it and hear it but it's not as pronounced as it would be with a higher end subwoofer. Remember this is only rated at 150w RMS 500w peak. But it definitely fills my 20x30 room with clean deep bass easily and provides the sound and output I was looking for.

this thing ROARRRRS! not for a small appartment or a studio. so loud, so clear and so clean. looks good too, great finish. would highly recommend

Great Subwoofer
I love my new BIC America subwoofer. It provides strong, deep bass with even frequency response. It automatically powers on and off. It has a beautiful gloss black top finish. The feature that I like the most is that it works with a traditional stereo receiver. It has high level (speaker level) inputs and outputs that connect to the speaker outputs of a regular stereo receiver and the inputs of left and right front speakers. It has low pass and high pass crossover networks that send low frequencies to the subwoofer, and upper bass to high frequencies to the left and right front speakers. This saved me from having to purchase a surround sound receiver. I am very happy with this subwoofer.
