“Im using a RCA cable by way of the "SUB IN" from the SUB to my receiver's "PRE-OUT". The remaining surround sound speakers are connected to my receiver as its source not the sub. As per my Pioneer 532 VSX receiver I aligned all the speakers still no sound”

If your Amp has a microphone with a wire to plug into your amp you should run this test and you sub should work. If you cannot get it to work used the Wired running your front L & R Speaker through it from your Amp.
