“We have lots of sandy soil around our home and a short haired dog. How well with this work for me? Also, will the machine work by using vinegar as the cleaning solution or does it require only Bissell products?”

Yes!! I have a med length hair dog and love it!!! And it picked up sans from the beach at my house! There’s a group on Facebook for crosswave owners and a lot of people make a vinegar solution! Just be aware it may void the warranty!
