I sometimes would like to use this as just a vacuum for my area rugs. Is it good for this or only for wet cleaning. null

I’m SO in LOVE with this!!!! I have had other steam mops before and thought they were good. Until I got this one!! You don’t even have to sweep your Floors first. It will also vacuum your rugs as well!! Although my rug is a little worn down so not sure how it would do if you have new rugs in your home. But I’m guessing it would work just fine!! What I also love is, not only does it clean your area rugs but I has some stain on my regular rug and this got rid of them without any issue!!!
Would definitely recommend it

Thanks for your question! We don't recommend it for dry vacuuming. The BISSELL CrossWave isn't intended for dry vacuuming or deep cleaning. It's designed to vacuum and wash sealed hard floors and rugs simultaneously, eliminating the need to sweep then mop. Hope this helps!

You don't always have to use the mop feature. My husband vacuums daily, but I mop 2-3 days a week.
