A:AnswerYes you can remove the handle. Look for a little hole with a white mesh type cover over it. It’s along the backside of the unit in the bottom section of the handle, once you locate it, take an Allen key or an item similar and put it in that hole the push the button and lift the handle out of the unit.
A:AnswerI have two dogs who can be messy just like toddlers :). They’ve left some dirt foot prints on the carpet and it did get those spots out (I did clean it not too long after so that may be a factor). As far as the hardwood floor steam action, I use it occasionally but when I have enough time to actually steam clean I prefer to use that instead as it does a much better job. One thing to note is after you use the water feature with this thing it’s important to clean/rinse the tank right after, it’s kind of a pain. But it is nice how the pieces easily come apart.
