I have owned both the Dyson Animal and the Bissell and found the suction to be equal to the Dyson. It does not lose suction even when it is 3/4 full. I have a smaller Shark unit so I don't think that would be a fair comparison. I also have a Kirby that can suck the chrome off a bumper as long as the bag isn't more than half full. The Eraser has a few feature I like including not clogging, easy empty canister (I haven't had to dig anything thing out) and the brush roller that doesn't get string or hair wrapped around it. I don't know how it does that but that has been a problem with every vacuum I've owned.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The suction on the Dyson is a bit better, but this vacuum still gets the job done. The suction on my Dyson was so strong is actually stretched my carpet and put wrinkles in it! It is comparable on suction to the Shark Navigator that I own, but SO much easier to use.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I returned a Shark, because the tank filled up too fast. It was also terrible to get the dog hair out of. Had to reach my hand inside and open from the top and bottom to clear it out. This one truly is a one button operation and empties with ease of one hand. Not sure what you are asking about the upright section. I find this easier to use and turn compared to the Shark I returned.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Nothing compares to the dyson.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I find to works better then a Dyson and doesn't compare to the Shark being over priced for the job. In my opinion the only comparison is the name Bissell does floors and rugs very well.
