• It would probably be better to just use a regular vacuum. Unless you are trying to only suck up water, and not spray and clean. It mainly works for sucking up wet. Rather than just dry

• I have broke it out when my daughter spilled water on the stairway and just used it like would if I sprayed the carpet and vacuumed it. Just without the spraying part.
