No, it doesn't which in my mind this product is a complete waste of money. Don't buy it! I was under the impression it did before I bought it but I never could find the answer until after I bought it. To the manufacturers: Why would someone want to spread their dirty water around on the floor? What is the thinking her and a complete disappointment.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, just sprays fresh solution and the cloth pads absorb much like a rag or sponge.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No it doesn't. As others have said there is no suction of the dirty water into a separate tank (like the one you use for the cleaning agent/water mix), but the residue surface water is absorbed into the two thick rotating pads, which, once you've finished cleaning, are put in the washing machine and cleaned ready for future use. To the person who thinks there is a tank - I respectfully suggest that they cast their mind back to when teachers would say say "make sure you read the question before answering otherwise you might end up looking silly". The various comments, from people who clearly own the machine (why else respond?), refer to a SpinWave and not a CrossWave. So perhaps you might like to reconsider your position.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No. It uses the solution to clean but does not suck it up. It doesn't require much solution to get a great clean and it dries very fast.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The pads are thick so the pads absorbe the water as you clean.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Thank you all so much for asking this question. Mopping is just being able to use clean water once then dumping it out. There needs to be a function on a scrubbing mop that allows a clean, rinse and suction. Otherwise you’re just spraying lots of solution (dirty water) on your floor, spreading it around and letting it dry. The alternative would be to change out pads, maybe even several times, and rinse with clean water…making 2-3x the work.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, this unit does not suck water.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Do any of you actually own the unit? Of course it sucks up the cleaning solution! It would neither need nor fill the dirty water tank if it didn't! With that said it uses a lot less solution than most wet vacs. Most of the solution is absorbed by the roller, which then uses the wet roller like a mop almost. As you use the unit you manually release more solution with a trigger as the roller dries out. This is an advantage since it does not need to pool much fluid on your floors. The roller stays wet and does the cleaning while spreading a minimum amount of fluid around. Less solution equals faster drying times. If you have a liquid spill that you are seeking to vac up, you can use the Crosswave but you'll need to check the "dirty" tank frequently because it doesn't hold a large amount.
