• The manual says using other cleaning solution would void warranty. So I wouldn't.

• It is not recommended you use another solution. I think that has the potential to void the warranty.

• Bissell says right in the manual that you will void the warranty if you use any cleaner besides theirs.

• I wouldn't recommend using any solution since that may clog the powered mop, the box comes with two samples of the multi solution for any type of floors , they will last you for a while. If you use the scrubby pads included , I'm sure it would clean your the groves of your textured floors.

• That's a great question - this machine is designed only to use BISSELL hard floor formulas but you should be able to clean textured flooring!
