A:AnswerWell Lucy, sorry to hear you may have been duped by blink. If you crank up the sensitivity you get Everything- even a bug so you will have a list of events. If you leave the setting at say, midrange, it wont pick up until someone or something is only a few feet away. And now you gave to pay Amazon to see any recorded events. Amazon just being hogs!
A:AnswerThis is the Blink Outdoor not the Blink XT2, The Blink Outdoor cameras are the next generation of wire-fee battery-powered 1080p HD security cameras that help you monitor and check-in on your home day or night.
A:AnswerI've had the xt2 system for a year and batteries are still good even with lots of packages being delivered and other activity at the front of the house.
A:AnswerCurrently Blink integrates with IFTTT and the Amazon Alexa-enabled devices: Echo, Dot, Tap, Show, Spot, FireTV, Fire TV Cube, Fire TV Stick and Fire Tablets.
A:AnswerProb 3 months or so. You can set exclusion zones for the motion sensors or lower the sensitivity and that would prob reduce the amount of traffic you catch. Also it says lithium batteries only, but I use rechargeable ones without issue.
