A:AnswerActually I went ahead and bought the sync module 2 prior to my question being answered. It works perfectly fine. Can view all cameras from app.
This is the Verizon home box that just plugs into an electrical outlet and uses tower signal. It is 5g but I used the 2.5g guest access for the sync module and now everything is back online and working fine.
A:AnswerAll Blink cameras require a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi Internet connection. The cameras use Wi-Fi to send images and notifications so you can view them from the Blink app on your mobile device. At minimum, Blink systems need a connection of at least 2 Mbps upload speed.
A:AnswerYou can connect with up to ten Blink Devices per a sync module If you wish to connect more than ten Blink devices, you can add another sync module to your account which will create another system allowing for another ten devices to be connected.
A:AnswerHello Deb,
All Blink Devices have a standard 1 year manufacturer warranty. Best Buy does offer a 4 year Geek Squad protection plan on the device as well. I would recommend speaking with a Best Buy associates about the benefits of both the manufacture warranty as well as the Geek Squad extended warranty. I have attached a link to the Blink Manufacture Warranty page as well.

I hope this helps!
A:AnswerYes. However, you will not be able to use the local storage feature as the XT2 devices have their own storage of 7200 seconds with the sync module.
A:AnswerHi there,
A DVR cannot be connected to a Sync Module 2 for local recording. To store clips locally, you can use a USB flash drive plugged in to the Sync Module 2 instead.
A:AnswerIt is for local storage of audio and video clips according to how you have each camera configured. It works for all cameras. The clips get sent to Blink (Amazon) cloud services and then download nightly to the Sync Module using a Year Month Day (YY-MM-DD) format.
