A:AnswerUsually you would download the app and make an account. Then add each device by scanning the QR code on the back for it to register.
However, if someone still has these devices connected to a different account (bc they didn't remove them) you may have difficulties adding them. It doesn't hurt to go ahead and see if the simple method works first though.

The only difference with the cloud service is that with the service you can record LIVE when you check the cameras on your cell phone, and access to the videos in the cloud and/or in the Memory are faster and preview a thumbnail of the video.

but I have been able to use it without the cloud to take care of my home without a problem.
A:AnswerYou only need a USB power cable, it connects up to 10 cameras at the same time via WIFI, I only have 3 for now and it works great. no extra wires between them.

A:AnswerI never tried this, but logic tells me it will work because the AC adapter it comes with is a standard 5 volt, 1 amp charger, which is what most standard USB ports provide. The only way to know for sure is to try it though.
