• A:Answer Yes. Each camera has a mount and an additional bracket so you can mount them in either of two planes. The directions are acceptable and easy to follow. Screws are included but they are not very robust. Recommend you drill pilot holes if you mount the cameras in materials such as hardy-board or cement siding and maybe using different screws.

• A:Answer I'm assuming when you say multi-pack you're referring to a 3 pack or more and wanting to split them with your sister to install at a seperate residence? If that's the case then you would have to purchase an additional "sync module 2" for your sister to be able to connect her share of cameras via wifi to. Each sync module can connect a max of 10 cameras (Hence if you want to buy let's say a 5 pack and you gave your sister 2 of the 5 cameras then you could run your 3 cameras with the provided sync module [included in multi-packs] but the remaining 2 cameras that are gifted to your sister would have to be ran on a seperate sync module that she would have to install at her residence for her personal alarm system. Both of you would be able to view each others clips (videos) and live feeds remotely once you link your devices [phone, tablet, laptop] to each respective sync module/alarm system for wach residence. Sorry so lengthy but i hope this provides some type of insight. Good luck!

• A:Answer yes and no. There is a subscription after the free trial. However, you can buy a small SD card and plug it into the sync module and instead of paying for a subscription for Blink to keep your videos, they are then downloaded to the SD card. I found a unit on Amazon that you plug into an outlet that holds the sync module and includes an SD card.

• A:Answer Under normal circumstances, the Sync Module is capable of communicating with Blink cameras up to 100 ft. away in any direction. We recommend keeping the Sync Module near your wireless router for the best signal strength. To ensure you get the motion notifications you want, keep the following in mind when choosing the location of your Outdoor 4: The best motion detection occurs when movement goes across the field of view. Motion directly toward, or away from, the camera can be harder to detect. Avoid mounting near bright light flashes, swaying tree branches, or random activity such as passing vehicles. The signal strength for both your Wi-Fi network and Sync Module should display at least three bars.
