• The Blink cameras have a focus range of Fixed Focus (3' to infinity)

• Really close. My camera is within a 1/4" to the bird hole and has no problems. I do just that and it works great. I assume you do it for disguise and not to watch a bird. If so, you will want to put moth balls or crystals in the bird house to keep bugs and wasps out...they will trigger motion alerts. Also build a bird house big enough to use the solar panel as a roof and you will have ZERO battery maintenance.
