Yes, the Yeti Pro is going to give you better microphone quality than a standard Yeti.

To my understanding, the difference between the Yeti and the Yeti Pro is that the Yeti is a USB only connection whereas the Yeti Pro can use either a USB or an XLR connection. I have the Pro model and it’s a very good microphone, but N.B. It IS a condenser microphone. That means that it picks up absolutely EVERYTHING. Which means you need to use it in a very quiet place. If you use it outdoors and there’s any wind or background noise in the direction that the mic is set for, or even if you gently bump the table that the mic is sitting on, you’ll hear it in the sound reproduction. Bottom line: Both models are very good microphones, but unless you use it in a VERY quiet environment, you’re going to have unwanted background noise. I hope this helps you decide and good luck.
