The main carbon+ particle filter then removes a wide range of pollutants, including pollen, dust, pet dander, mold, smoke particles, viruses, and bacteria. Finally, an activated carbon layer targets gases and light odors from pets, cooking, and smoke. Please note that the Blue Pure 211i Max does not use UV light.
