“Im curious if this product self cleans. Nowhere in the description does it say whether or not you have manually clean or if it self cleans. Also curious about the frequency of cleaning thats recommended.”

It doesn't self clean. You have to manually clean it. Frequency would depend on how much long hair gets caught under it and I guess how dirty of a place you live in.

You then have to empty the bag in the charging base when it fills. I also have to manually clean the roller brush, edges, and vacuum opening when excess lint accumulates.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You can set the frequency to the function where the dock will suck out the contents of the vacuum. It says the size of the bag in the dock will last several weeks, but that of course depends on the usage and the cleanliness of the floor.
