Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You need a cable card from your cable provider and a subscription to Tivo for schedule guide. I bought the lifetime since its actually monthly cost is cheaper and I have kept my previous Tivo for years. DVR also connects to Amazon, Netflix, Hulu and more.
I would recommend:
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It requires a cable card that you can get from your digital cable provider. The cable card is similar to a setup box but is used for devices like Tivo Bolt+.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This unit requires a cablecard provided by your cable service provider and they must pair that card to their system. My experience was that my local cable company, Vyve, was not fluent in pairing the Motorola cablecard and this device with their system. 5 in home installers couldn't get it to work but not their fault but that of the people at the pairing facility on the other end of their phone conversation that worked in the Vyve switching office. Took 3 days to get me up and running but since that time it has performed perfectly. You must also subscribe to the TiVo service program in order to get your programing guide, etc. This is done either on a monthly, annual, or lifetime basis per your choice and what payment plan you feel you can afford. The monthly fee is $15. The annual fee is cheaper by two months at $150. The lifetime fee is the life of the unit not you and is somewhere between $545 and $600. I just can't remember exactly at the moment. I went with the annual fee.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The cable card that decodes your cable service is inserted into the Tivo, and the same features and costs still apply. This box simply adds the Tivo features onto of that.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, you will have to obtain a "Cablecard" from your cable company in order for TiVo to obtain the channels you pay for.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You,l need to get a cable card and activate it to be fully functional
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You will need to get a cable card from the cable company and call to activate...then it's good to go
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You will still only receive the channels you subscribe. Hardware requirements depend on your cable co. For TWC/Spectrum you'll need a CableCard (TWC $2.50/mo.) and a tuning adapter (no cost). Since these replace the settop box & remote at $27.50 month, it pays for itself in a few months.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, specially if you have Verizon. It does not support HD antenna and does not work with satellite, Google Fiber and AT&T U-verse. Hope this helps.
