It will just stream, I've never seen an option to record. You can download shows/movies from Amazon, but that's separate from the streaming service.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It only streams them, not records them. Sigh.. That would be great, but TIVO doesn't do that. It does record shows from your cable TV. And playing recorded shows on your TIVO is GREAT! E.g. you can skip commercials by clicking a single key. Or go slightly fast forward (30% faster) and still listen to relatively good audio. Or Fast forward even faster (about 2-3X) and see closed captions which makes it fast to watch shows and still keep up with dialog. I also like how easy it is to just use one remote control while watching Netlix, Amazon Prime, etc. Good luck to you!!
