• You should be able to transfer your number over. If you are coming from Virgin Mobile, your number can be moved to Boost Mobile. I called Boost Mobile, and I asked if that could take place. If you're coming from Sprint, I do not know if you can switch your number over or not. I suggest you call Boost Mobile, and ask that question (if you're a Sprint Customer). If you are coming from any other Service Provider (other than Sprint), you should have no issue with moving your number over.

• Yes boost carrier allows you to keep your number or change it. I don't know if other carriers allow it too.

• You can transfer your number without a buying a new sim card. It comes with the new sim card.
