Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, you should be able to transfer your number from another phone (and a different carrier) to the new J7 phone. Boost Mobile is the carrier; it's a Sprint subsidiary, but still separate from Sprint. However, you may not be able to do the transfer online. When I was setting up my new J7, I tried a similar number transfer online at the Boost site, and it didn't go through. I was transferring from Virgin Mobile (another Sprint subsidiary) to Boost Mobile So I then called Boost Mobile customer support, and they were able to implement the transfer over the phone. It turns out the Boost online activation site is set up to handle new customers, transfers from existing Boost customers, or transfers from outside (non-Sprint) carriers -- but not transfers from Sprint or other Sprint-related carriers. However, once I made that call, the Boost agent was very helpful, and the transfer took only a few minutes. Everything has worked fine since then.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Most likely yes. Since boost mobile is partnered with sprint and runs off sprint cell towers in most areas you can probably hook it up with either company while also keeping the same #
