As far as i know yea i think boost only ive never tried going anywhere else and why would i, no carrier can beat $40 a month unlimited.

Mak, that is correct. Only Boost.... Some folks get phones rooted but that messes with the the warranty. Why spend a lot of $$$ and mess with the warranty. If you decide to change carriers, do as I have done, sell the old phone on a place like craigslist.

I bought a boost phone just to make sure that it worked on the boost network. If you buy the phone from the network manufacturer it will work on their network I.e. Verison, boost, etc.

The phone I purchased works only for Boost.

Yes. Although it says No-Contract, the device is locked on to Boost Mobile's Network. If you're looking to insert a SIM card you would need to buy an Unlocked version of this phone.
