It beeps for about 30 seconds and then stops. If I remember the manual correctly you can turn that beeping off, too.

Per the Guide: The dishwasher has been preset with certain settings for your convenience. You can change these factory settings. Use the function keys A, B and C to change the settings. 6: Cycle completion signal, 6:02 Factory Setting, 6:00 - 6:03, Signal sounds when wash cycle is complete.
