We recommend checking out the “Appliance Overview” on page 11 of the Use & Care manual to view this vent’s location. Steam is also vented through our PureDry® condensation drying technology that lets moisture drain away. PureDry® is an energy-efficient, closed drying system that does not pull in outside air or use an exposed heating element. This process works by heating the dishes with hot water during the final rinse. The cooler stainless steel pulls moisture from the dishes. The water droplets are then drained from the tub. It’s also important to note that there should not be an issue with steam or water damage when the dishwasher is properly installed. A:AnswerWell, we’ve only had ours for about 3 months it is a combo washer the bottom of the tub a plastic/composite material. We wanted the total steel tub but it wasn’t available. However the composite tub bottom is working just fine and we love the quality of the washer!

A:AnswerThere are more ways to load dishes than what is pictured in manual. Be a bit creative and see how it works. I put long cooking utensils on the top rack horizontially. Bowls may go over several sets of prongs. As long as the water can get to the inside and outside of the bowl, that seems to work fine.
