It has a drying setting but it still is very wet after the cycle. We open the door after it is finished and the dishes dry very quickly. If you have any plastic cups or plates they will not dry. We don't have much plastic in our home so it hasn't been much of an issue but if something plastic goes in we always have to dry it with a towel.

The AutoAir® option is only available on our 500 Series dishwashers. The 300 Series models dry using the PureDry® condensation drying process. This is an energy-efficient, closed drying system that does not pull in outside air or use an exposed heating element. It works by heating the dishes with hot water during the final rinse. The cooler stainless steel pulls moisture from the dishes. The inside of the unit will be wet at the end of the cycle, but the dishes should be dry. It's important to note that plastics don’t retain heat as well as other dishware materials and don’t dry as well. We hope this information helps.
