I never use wifi.  I run it manually.

Hi TomFLL, thanks for your question. The Half Load, Delicate, Rinse, Delay Start, Eco, and Machine Care cycles can only be accessed through the Home Connect app. Everything else listed in the manual can be used without downloading Home Connect/wi-fi.
