• Built in as the lights and fans are on the bottom of the unit.

• Hi Location! The Bosch over-the-range microwave model HMV8054U cannot be placed on the countertop or in a built-in cabinet. It must be mounted at a minimum height of 36" above the cooking surface. If you have any further questions, feel free to ask!
