- Answer Hi Skess, thanks for your question and interest in model HBL8753UC. As a set, this combination includes two built-in oven components: a conventional wall oven (lower oven) and either a microwave or speed oven (upper oven). If the upper component breaks and needs to be replaced, you should only have to replace the upper component.

The HBL8753UC Bosch combination oven is sold as as set, which includes two built-in oven components: a conventional wall oven (lower oven) and a built-in speed oven. For ease of installation and improved alignment, the oven components are assembled together in the customer’s home rather than at the factory. The microwave is specially designed to wire into the back of the wall oven. This allows for one 240v plug to operate both units. If you wish to have separate units each with their own 240v electrical plugs then suggest ordering wall oven and speed oven/microwave separately. You can refer to the installation manual for further information. If you have any additional questions, please contact your local Best Buy dealer.

- Answer simple answer: microwave attaches it's power to the lower oven via junction box. and oven wired to junction box in the wall.

QuestionDoes the microwave have a self clean capability. Convection cooking meats will generate a lot of fat spatter, difficult to clean without high heat capability

- Answer Hi 2blueeyes. Thank you for your question. For the 800 Series Electric Wall Oven. Model:HBL8753UC here are the cleaning instructions from the Use and Care Manual: Never allow food stains or salt to remain on stainless steel for any length of time. Always wipe or rub in the direction of the grain. Clean with a soapy sponge, then rinse and dry, or wipe with Fantastik® or Formula 409® sprayes on a paper towel. Protect and polish with Stainless Steel Magic® and a soft cloth. Remove water spots with a cloth dampened with white vinegar. Use Bar Keeper´s Friend® to remove heat discoloration. Chlorine or chrlorine compounds in some cleansers are corrosive to stainless steel. Check ingredients on label.

QuestionHi, can this unit be mounted like this with microwave and oven not bracketed together in same opening?? From the manual, it seems like you bracket them together after delivery. This is the way the unit I am replacing is installed. Thanks!

- Answer Technically i believe you can. they are 2 seperate pieces. Normally the microwave is attached to the oven junction box. but you can attach it directly to a wall junction if needed. both units do not have plugs but rather wired into a junction box.
