I don't know if they are sweat resistant, but would recommend you get a seperate set of inexpensive sweat resistant Soundsports for the gym to sweat all over, and save your Hearphones for more important conversation with others, use on the airplane or in cancelling out irritating background noise, and for higher fidelity music streaming enjoyment.
