I am the owner of an Electronics company. All batteries form a memory. IF you don't discharge them and constantly charge them it will eventually shorten the life of that battery. I just used my Quiet Comfort for a 9 hour flight with no issues with battery life. I store mine when not in use then fully charge them if i'm taking them on a trip or using them around the house.
