“I want a pair of earbuds to use as wired ONLY. I do not want bluetooth. I'm looking at these and I don't really understand what's going on. Can I detach that battery and use them as wired earbuds? Or if they're wired will I have to have the battery?”

The battery and wired earbuds are an integral assembly. No parts can be separated except the 3 sizes of interchangeable ear pieces which are sized to fit your ear.
