QuestionHi.Actually I am looking for something specially for Karaoke and would give me great sound quality.Should I go with this one ?Will I be able to connect wireless microphone with this one and how many microphones can be connected at the same time? Thank you

- Answer My brother has this unit and we use it for Karaoke all the time. It is fantastic for that application. You can pair the speaker to a iPad or any tablet and then use the input XLR 1 and XLR 2 for 2 microphones. We are using high end wireless Shure microphones and they work beautifully. There is also a reverb adjustment so that there is an echo effect on the microphone. Hopefully that answers your questions. Also I would not use a bluetooth microphone as clearly there are 2 inputs for microphones.

Questionhello there! I'm planning to buy my second s1 pro speaker, but i want to know if i can use them at the same time for Samsung tv sound output using Bluetooth. can Bose connect apps be applicable to smart tv?

- Answer Hi! You can pair/link together 2 of our S1 Pro speakers in a party mode through the Bose Connect app. When paired this way, you can select for this to play through Stereo or through Mono audio between the two. From here, you can pair this up to a compatible Bluetooth device (Such as a Smart TV) any play audio from this. Please note that there may be an audio delay if you are using this through Bluetooth, so please check for any video delay, or video/audio sync options within the Smart TV/other device in order to have the best experience. We hope this helps!

- Answer Hello, Mustapha. Thanks for your interest in the S1 Pro Portable Speaker! You can absolutely connect your iPad to the speaker via Bluetooth. iPods will work great as well over Bluetooth, as long as this setting is listed in the iPod's menu. For previous generation iPods that don't use Bluetooth, you can connect them using a 3.5 mm auxiliary cable. We hope this helps! Have a great day. Jesse - Bose Support

- Answer You can grab an aux out submix from the board or from your drum module. I use it as a floor wedge in larger venue where I have to carry my L1 m2. I'd be careful not to put too much kick in it. If you mean a personal monitor for the entire band mix then I think it'd be perfect.

QuestionQuick Q: Can I just use this as an everyday, all-day bluetooth listening device for Spotify etc? I have the Soundlink Resolve, and am pretty impressed. So here I go trying to make a good thing even better by using the S1 Pro. Comments plz?

- Answer Yes, that’s what I use it for. The only thing is the app doesn’t let you adjust bass and treble like the portable home speaker or the resolve does(maybe Bose will change this), it just gives you some pre sets to choose from. Even still the sound is great. I use it for the kitchen or the backyard and haven’t maxed out the volume. Just get it.

- Answer I have not noticed that difference, but I can tell you it’s better as just a speaker for music. I linked the speaker with my tv for movies and the sound is great, but it does not replace a sound bar for better more surround sound.

- Answer There are two channels on this with XLR/phono inputs. You can hook any microphones other than condenser mics, since this units don’t have phantom power.
