A:Answer 1. Why do you care about "the Watts"? That is a meaningless metric. The sound is fantastic, crystal clear and goes plenty loud.
2. This is their top of the line sound bar product & it's sound represents that position well. I added the wireless Sub 700 & surround 700 speakers as well. The entire system sounds fantastic.
3. I am not sure if it can be used w/o wifi (the TV signal comes into the TV via HDMI), but I'm not sure if the set up process requires wifi or not? Plus you will miss out on some great functionality w/o wifi. This (along with the Portable Home Speaker and also the Home Speaker 500) all use the new Bose Music App. Bose went away from their prior App for these new products - to enable Alexa / voice control. If you have wifi, then you can control these speakers via the Bose Music App & also listen to Pandora, Sirius XM, TuneIn, etc. Plus you can "link" any of the other speakers I mentioned that use the Bose Music App - so if you want the same thing playing in the entire house - the App with these products enable you to do it. Step into the 90's get wifi!
